Hi, I’m Michelle - a 27 year old wife and working mom to one adorable little princess living in beautiful sunny Miami, FL.  It all started from a 2011 new year’s resolution…”this year I need to figure out a way to spend less or save more”.  Of course, being the compulsive shopper that I am, the “spend less” part was going to be a difficult task for me (LOL).  I never had a system of budgeting my money.  I wanted the latest and greatest, and I didn’t bother to consider the financial impact it would have on my family.    

So I began researching the internet and Sunday newspaper for weekly sales and coupons.  I was amazed at how much I could actually save if I planned ahead and purchased items while they were on sale.  A couple months into it, I was hooked after seeing all the savings, not to mention the little stockpile I was building up.  I have to thank my sister who gave me the idea about creating this website.  Since January 2011, I have put together deals that have added up to a savings of over $1,500.  Now I’m no expert, but I certainly know a thing or two about budgeting and saving.  With this blog I want to share my savings and provide you with the best deals to help you stretch your pennies just as I have.
